Developing ‘My Papa Darling’ As an English Teaching Media for Parts of Speech

Parts of Speech is one the important elements that students should learn to master English grammar. This research aimed at developing ‘My Papa Darling’ as an teaching media for part speech. was conducted in 9th-grade SMP Negeri 58 Surabaya. In Darling‘, this adopted model by Thiagarajan which called Four-D (4D), it consists four phases namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Due a limited time, stopped field trials. After passing some phases, data were gained. First, valid since score validity test 3.5. Then result observation checklist toward implementation classroom obtained 3.8 meant excellent. The gave positive responses, could be seen from average students’ questionnaire, 88.66%. short, My Darling appropriate use learning parts
